In the Dolomites, old wartime footpaths were equipped with wire ropes. This was the beginning of via ferrata and especially in the Dolomites you can find many rewarding and scenically wonderful via ferrata. With relatively little equipment and know-how, via ferratas are doable for almost anyone.
The group size is then usually between 4 and 8 people, so via ferrata are also interesting in terms of price. The following via ferratas in the immediate vicinity are quickly and easily accessible:
Paternkofel, Punta Fiames, Col Rosà, Toblacher Knoten, Alpinisteig, Sextner Rotwandspitze, Tofana di Mezzo, Punta Anna, Tofana di Rozes, Alpiniklettersteig at Col di Bois, Piz da Lec, Tomaselli, Pisciadù, Pößneckersteig, Marmolada Westgrat, Peitlerkofel, Cir Spitze, Fanesschlucht etc.
I am also happy to put together a weekly program with 4 – 5 via ferrata and accommodation.
