Snowshoeing to a mountain peak, a mountain hut or mountain saddle

Snowshoeing (italian ciaspolata) is an experience of nature in its purest form. It is the solitary silence of the freshly snow-covered winter landscape.

There are fantastic opportunities for snowshoeing in the immediate vicinity of your accommodation. The following tours are available: Astjoch, Terner Joch, Mühlbacher Talile, , round tour on the Fanesalm or Sennesalm with ascent by snowcat, monte Piano with ascent by skidoo. Tre cime di Lavaredo with ascent by skidoo, lake Braies and hike into the Grünwaldalmtal. , Taistneralm with Durrerspitze, Plätzwiese over the Stallaalm and many others. You will be picked up from the hotel by minibus and brought back to your accommodation.

• Participants: max. 7 persons
• Duration: start at 9:00 am and return at 03:00 pm
• Equipment: snowshoes and poles will be provided. Bring winter clothing and winter shoes and a backpack if possible.

Backcountry skiing (Skitouring)

Backcountry skiing is becoming increasingly popular and the immediate surroundings of Brunico Bruneck offer countless possibilities, from easy to challenging ski tours. Provided you are a good skier and have a good level of fitness, you will be fascinated by this opportunity to explore the mountains. Certainly an absolute highlight!

Sellaronda

This unique ski circuit offers you breath-taking views of the astonishing mountain range that is the Dolomites and will take you across four Dolomite passes: The Campolongo Pass, the Pordoi Pass, the Sella Pass and the Gardena Pass. The Sellaronda also skirts five communities: Corvara and Colfosco in Alta Badia, Arabba, Canazei and Selva (Wolkenstein).

Skisafari from Cortina d’Ampezzo to the Kronplatz

The unique skisafari takes us from the center of Cortina directly to the Kronplatz. The start is in the Ra Valles ski resort and leads over the 5torri to the summit of the Lagazuoi (2800 m highest point). After a fantastic descent past the Tofane and the cima Scotoni, a horse drawn carriage pulls us up to Armentarola. We continue over the Piz Sorega to Corvara and to Sompunt. By a bus (every 20 minutes) we continue to Pikolein (Kronplatz). Via Piz de Plaies and the famous Erta we head to the top of Plan de Corones. At the end, the valley descent to Reischach or Gassl awaits (Brand new Skisafari).
